A Brief Bio

I was born in a small town in Alabama and moved to California with my family in 1999. I am happily married, with three beautiful children who are the light of my life.

I began writing when I was around ten or so, penning a daily 'soap opera' for my classmates called "As The Classroom Turns". I used popular song titles to tell stories about my friends, and everyone seemed to enjoy them. (even the boys!)

Around age thirteen, I began writing poetry and song lyrics, inspired by my all-time favorite performer, Stevie Nicks. I was very prolific back then, but the quality was hit and miss. I still have a few of those early lyrics and poetry, though I have never shared them with anyone.

I began writing stories in high school, but did not venture into novels until my early twenties. I completed my first novel at age 23, and keep the manuscript for sentimental reasons. When I met and married my second husband and we started our family, I put the writing aside for many years. The opportunity to pick it back up came when I quit work to be a stay-at-home mother to our children, and I have been writing non-stop ever since.

I write what I like to read, which is a mix of romance, erotica, drama, fantasy and horror, with a little history, mystery and sci-fi mixed in from time to time. You will find that most of my books are a combination of genres, and hopefully have elements that will appeal to a variety of readers.
